The Primer on Climate Change and Indigenous Peoples is intended to provide tribal perspectives on foundational information on Climate Change, Indigenous Peoples, and Tribes. It was initially developed for the Advisory Committee on Climate Change and Natural Resource Science and addresses three major topics:
- The impact of climate change on tribal and Indigenous Peoples;
- Relationships between Indigenous Peoples and the Federal-Government; and
- The availability of funding to support the participation of Indigenous Peoples in federal climate initiatives.
